When using for the first time, it should be noted that the soil should be inserted several times, and the metal probe surface should be polished to protect the oil layer before using. 3.When measuring, pay attention to make the gold surface fully contact the soil and compacted, so that the measurement data is more accurate. 4.When the pH value is determined, directly insert the metal plate into the soil of the test point, and the correct value is obtained after about 10 minutes. Soil density, moisture and excessive fertilizer content may affect the values, so measurements must be made at different locations several times to obtain an average value. 5.When inserting into the soil, do not exert too much force. In case of immovable condition, do not blindly exert force to cause product damage. 6.When measuring humidity, you need to loosen the soil so that the front probe lightly undergoes the soil. Do not use external forces, because there is a lot of water in the layer, and if the soil is squeezed/water will overflow on the surface of the probe, resulting in too much measurement data. 7..After measurement, it is necessary to clean the soil material on the surface of the probe with a cleaning cloth in time, and keep the probe dry and stored well. Instruction Before testing Remove other objects in soil. If the soil is dry or contains too much fertilizer, please sprinkle some water onto the soil and leave for 25-30 minutes before testing. Make sure the tester is clean. Be in Use Insert the metal part of the tester completely into the soil. After 10 minutes, you can read the PH value. Press white button in the middle of the tester to get the moisture value. Depending on soil condition, the value may difer, please take an average after several measurements. After Use Please wipe the tester clean. Warning Do not use this soil tester to test any liquid. Do not insert the soil meter into very hard soil or touch hard objects Do not leave the probe inserting in soil longer than 60 minutes. Moisture Both under-watering and over-watering can be detrimental to a plant. Different species of plants require different soil moisture levels. Brown crispy tips on a plant's leaves are a sign that the plant is under-watered. Yellowing leaves can show that the plant is over-watered.
